Sensitive and reactive skin

Any skin can become sensitive. Redness appears first, which is one of more visible signs of skin reactivity. These changes are also accompanied by the feeling of skin tightness, stinging, itching and flushing with warmth.

Redness can be the first sign of skin changes
Redness can be caused by dilated blood capillaries and it is particularly typical of gentle, thin and reactive skin. Different factors can cause dilated capillaries, internal (mental well-being, stress, spiced food and alcohol) as well as external (warmth and cold, pollution, UV-rays). Capillaries can gradually become more permeable, which can cause inflammatory reactions. The stinging and itching sensation may develop, as well as the feeling of skin tightness. The capillaries can gradually become visible with constantly present redness.

Reactive skin needs adjusted care
Reactive skin requires care with selected products to avoid the initially transient redness becoming constant. The soothing effect and the strengthening of skin’s natural protection improve its structure and boost its resistance, which helps reduce redness.
